251 Trafford Centre - Ashton-upon-Mersey - Sale - Stretford - Old Trafford - Piccadilly

Starting 19th August, the 252 route will change greatly. Along with a number change (257) It will no longer travel between Partington and the Trafford Centre. This is to make the service more reliable. To ensure Sale is still connected to the vital commercial centre nearby, the 251 will replace the part of the 252, (now the 257) which connected Partington to the Trafford Centre. It still serves the same areas as the 257 up until Sale , but breaks off to its own route, going via Ashton-upon-Mersey, and going through towards the M60 to finally end in the Trafford Centre.
