Operator Updates for Towers Buses North West
Update: We have been slowly phasing out some of our older vehicles in preperation for some new electric buses! These buses are expected to arrive by the end of this month and maybe early august. These 4 new buses will be fitted with audible next stop information, comfy leather seating, USB ports on all seats and more space. We extend our thanks to the government who have supported us in buying brand new vehicles over the past months.
Update: SUBSIDARY OPERATOR LAUNCH: With the sad demise of our Skipton depot, we have transferred some of the vehicles to a new sub-company called Dale Bus, owned by us. We are aiming to achieve a better service in the Yorkshire Dales around the Hawes and Kirkby Stephen area. You will be able to use tickets from this company across the Dale Bus network!
Update: Fleet numbers are in the process of gradually being updated for ease of maintenance: For example, the scania irizar coaches begin with SCA- and the Evoras will begin with EVO-
Update: FUEL SURCHARGES: To all customers, due to ongoing conflict and fuel shortages, we are having to up our ticket prices, this is something we don’t want to do but in order to protect our foreseeable future this has to happen. They will only go up by £1 Ethan Towers, Manager and owner
Update: DISCONTINUATION! We will no longer be operating the C1 and 1X, the C1 will be run by Stagecoach and the 1X replaced by the better X1 which continues to Bowness. Apologies for this, Towers Buses
