Operator Updates for Stephenson’s of Essex
Update: Due to water main works at Sandon there will be no pick up at Sandon School, use Manor Farm shop instead please. This will be until further notice.
Update: Castle Camps High Street is closed due to waterworks. Buses will not be able to access Castle Camps until Thursday 11/06/2026 and will divert via Blacksmith Lane to Shudy Camps in both directions. Please either wait for the bus at Nosterfield End or catch a 319 from the bus stop outside the primary school.
Update: Due to the closure of the A127 at the junction of Progress Road 09:30 - 15:00, service 23A/23B will be diverted as follows.. Towards Southend Airport/Business Park - Normal route to the A127, left onto A127 to Rayleigh Weir, U-turn back to Progress Road and then normal route. (All stops will be served) Towards Leigh Station - Normal route to A127, then left onto A127, right onto Bellhouse Lane and then left onto Eastwood Road North. (The following stops will not be served Belfairs Park Drive, Fairways School and The Woodcutters) The works are scheduled from 8th - 10th June, but may be completed earlier. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
