Routes 2, 3, Island Coaster & Shanklin Shuttle are on diversion in Shanklin due to a fire on the High Street

Route 2 buses will divert in both directions from Avenue Road via St John's Road, Brooke Road, Collingwood Road to reach Shanklin Bus Station. Route 3 buses towards Ryde will divert from the High Street at the end of Shanklin Old Village via Grange Road, Florence Road then Victoria Avenue, St John's Road, Brooke Road, Collingwood Road to reach the Shanklin Bus Station. Route 3 buses towards Newport will divert from Shanklin Train Station via Atherley Road, Queen's Road, Chine Avenue and then left into Shanklin Old Village. The Shanklin Shuttle will divert from Chine Avenue then divert Shanklin Old Village via Grange Road, Florence Road then Victoria Avenue, St John's Road, Brooke Road, Collingwood Road to reach the Shanklin Bus Station. The Island Coaster will divert from Shanklin Old Village, via Grange Road, Florence Road then Victoria Avenue, St John's Road, Brooke Road, Collingwood Road to reach the Shanklin Bus Station. Daish's Bus Stops in both directions. Clarendon Road and The Shanklin Youth Centre stop in both directions cannot be served at this time. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Route 8/59/71/Island Coaster/Downs Breezer - Eddington Road closed from 08:00 on 21st July until 17:00 on 25th July

Route 8/71/ Island Coaster- Eddington Road closed from 08:00 on 21st July until 17:00 on 25th July. During these times Route 8/59/71, buses will divert after Station Road, St Helens, left onto Carpenters Road, Beaper Shute, Malbourough Road, right into Appley Road and then follow to Caws Avenue to operate normal route. Island Coaster from Ryde will operate from Appley, Marlborough Road, Beaper Shute and Canteen Road to pick up the route from St Helens. Stops between Appley and St Helens will not be served. This will operate in both directions The Downs Breezer will also not serve Seaview whilst this closure is on and will divert from St Helens, Carpenters Road, Beaper Shute to Appley and then into Ryde This diversion will operate in both directions. Bus stops between The Vine and West Priory Cottages can not be served. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
