Operator Updates for Reading buses 12
Update: There will be no Right turn from Gillette Way to Manor Farm Road from Monday 5th October 2026 until Friday 30th October 2026 Greenwave services will divert as follows Customers are to use Morrison Bus stop and Whitley Park School bus stop while we have no access to Gillette Way during this time. Customers Wanting to go towards Green Park Will need to be on the side of the road towards Reading in Kennet Island or use the Bus stop on the A33 as we will not be able to serve the normal stops. Outbound Greenwave 50A will divert Via A33 into to Kennet Island along to Manor Farm Road, Basingstoke Road, the run full length of Rose Kiln Lane back onto the A33 to resume normal route Towards Reading Greenwave 50a will divert via Basingstoke Road , Rose Kiln Lane to resume normal route on the A33. Update: The Cressingham Road Church bus stops on Cressingham Road will be out of use from Monday 5th October until Friday 16th October 2026 This is due to work by SSE. Customers are advised to use the Barnsdale Road, or Cressingham Road Church bus stops on Shinfield Road. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Update: The Brooksby Road bus stop inbound on Overdown Road will be out of use from Monday 5th October until Wednesday 7th October 2026 This is due to work by Open Reach. Please use either the Tring Road or Oak Tree Copse bus stops instead. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Update: The Rickman Close bus stops will be out of use from Monday 5th October until Saturday 5th December 2026 This is due to works by Volker Highways on behalf of Wokingham Council. Customers are advised to use the Hill Road or Ducks Nest Farm bus stops instead. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Update: The Mereoak Lane Bus Link will be closed between 09:00 – 16:00 each day from Monday 5th October 2026 until Friday 9th October 2026. This is to enable Wokingham Borough Council to carry out highway repairs. During this time, Mereoak P&R 600 towards Mereoak P&R we will be unable to serve Hartley Court Turn. Please use Mereoak park bus stop instead. 600 from Mereoak towards Central Reading will operate as normal We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Update: Rowcroft Road Outbound on Sheerlands road will be out of use from Tuesday 6th October until Thursday 8th October 2026 This is for works by Thames Water. Customers are advised to use the Crusader Close, or Arborfield Green District Centre bus stops instead. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Update: Due to congestion on Bath Road between Winning Hand and Spring Inn caused by roadworks, delays are affecting the following routes: • jet black 1 towards Newbury & Central Reading is running up to 15 minutes late. Update: Due to Beech Lane between Dene Close and Chelwood Road being closed following emergency roadworks, the little oranges 19b is following a diversion with delays of up to 10 minutes expected: • little oranges 19b towards Lower Earley - Chalfont Way ASDA will divert, Betchworth Ave / Silverdale Road, Gipsy Lane, Rushy way & Carshalton Way. little oranges 19b towards Central Reading will divert, Carshalton Way, Rushey Way, Gipsy Lane, Silverdale Road / Betchworth Ave. Diversion Bus Stop Information: • little oranges 19b will not call at 'Wilderness Court', 'Hilbury Road', 'Dene Close', 'Chelwood Road' and 'Thanington Way' bus stops while on diversion. For services towards Lower Earley - Chalfont Way ASDA, please use 'Ramsbury Drive' or 'Fleetham Gardens' bus stops, and towards Central Reading, please use 'Fleetham Gardens' or 'Ramsbury Drive' bus stops.
