Operator Updates for BhulaBus Marlborough
Update: Fleet changes as a result of dual-door operation. *1* - MC Ultroliners cascaded to WG for 24/X24/501. *2A/C* - elsewhere across Marlborough TBC. *3A/C* - some E400MMCs to BHUC, rest TBC. *5* - TBC. *8* - Remaining Geminis/E400s retired, other vehicles transfer TBC. *17* - E400 MMCs reused for X17 and 165. *18* - Remaining Geminis/E400s retired, other vehicles transfer TBC. *84* - E400s transfer to BHUC. *142* - E400 MMCs transfer to WG for 24/X24/501. *AU1* - Hidden rear door to become operational. NewPower loans to BHUT until September. AU1 to operate with short term loans from other garages.
Update: IMPORTANT UPDATE TO OPERATION OF ROUTES 1, 2A, 2C, 3A, 3C, 5, 8, 17, 18, 84, 142, AU1. Looking at data from the Apr 24 - Mar 25 and Apr 25 to Mar 26 periods, we have made the decision to convert Routes 1, 2A, 2C, 3A, 3C, 5, 8, 17, 18, 84, 142 and AU1 to double-door operation. This is due to longer dwell times on these routes in particular. This may also apply to other routes (112 and 172 likely) in the coming months. These vehicles will have a 'DD' or 'DE' fleet number.
