Operator Updates for Alistair & Charlie’s Preserved Buses
Update: Join us on Saturday 19th September for a Running day of all our buses between 0930 and 1700. No fare to ride just turn up and go. (Programs cost £1 these include routes and timings)
Update: We have just purchased 1823 from Morebus after the New Forest Tour ended for the season. 1823 is now in Otterbourne Yard
Update: We have purchased 2668 - V668 DFX. The history of this bus dates back to 1999 when it was ordered as one of the first Optare Solo batches for Wilts and Dorset before being transferred to Bluestar around 2010. In 2013 it was sold for scrap, but last minute purchase pd by a private individual who we purchased it of after it was left uncared for.
Update: 6901 LX06 EAY was brought for us from Damory after its loan in Plymouth.
Update: 1128 has just been repainted into its old Bluestar One / Star Quality branding and livery.
Update: We have managed to purchase 1128 directly from Bluestar and is now with us in Otterbourne
Update: 1008 was purchased for us from Zero2 bus sales after it had finished its loan in Plymouth it’s now with us in our Otterbourne Bus Yard
