Due to a major vehicle fault affecting one of the electric buses out of Galway Depot, the route 9AR is having to be operated by a single deck vehicle until further notice. We apologise for the inconvenience and are working to send another double deck vehicle as soon as possible. The bus affected, fleet number GXL67, is being dragged to Dublin Cherrywood depot for the necessary maintenance before it will be returned. Update 20/4@22:15 -- We will be attempting to transfer a spare vehicle from the Wexford/Waterford CityLink operations to operate the run tomorrow, and will be attempting to position a hire fleet vehicle in the near future. Update 20/4@22:30 -- Vehicle W629 is now being transferred from Waterford Depot, and will arrive to start the service from 06:00, with some services (01:00-04:00) being worked by a single deck vehicle. Unfortunately, the 04:00 to 06:00 services will have to be cancelled. As an alternative, please take route 923. !! FINAL UPDATE !! 20/4@22:45 -- The 01:00 to 04:00 9AR service will not track correctly, due to the timeframe that we had to sort the trips. It should run to time, however we will notify you if it is delayed. The vehicle transferred is in the MHR CityLink livery with Wexford / Waterford branding, which has a red main colour with a black stripe and details. It will either run with "Special" or "9AR Airporter" on its destination sign. We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused, and will endeavour to return the bus that caused this all back into service.

Galway Depot is OPEN!! This depot has new, or like-new condition refurbished buses. These buses are to high specification for their interiors, as they run on relatively long routes. The 9AR Airport service runs every 20 minutes from 01:00 to midnight, with a journey time of 9 minutes. The 90, 91 and 9AR are running hybrid double deck vehicles. To coincide with the introduction of the Galway Greens buses, there will be a livery competition which all the schools in the area will be involved in. We hope you have a wonderful journey out of MHR Galway Depot.
